About Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum

The Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) of CREDAI NCR has been a pioneering initiative, dedicated to addressing and resolving consumer complaints related to the Home Buyers of its member developers. Established to strengthen consumer protection, the CGRF serves as a vital platform for dispute resolution, ensuring that homebuyer interests are safeguarded with fairness and transparency.

By fostering trust between home buyers and the real estate industry, CGRF promotes transparency, accountability, and adherence to ethical standards. Its structured mechanism allows member developers to access buyer complaints via the CREDAI NCR website or automated platform, and respond within defined timelines ranging from 7 to 45 days, based on the complexity of each issue.

The forum is backed by a distinguished panel comprising senior developers, legal experts, technical professionals, and retired judges. This diverse expertise ensures disputes are addressed efficiently, fairly, and with integrity - reinforcing a robust framework of self-regulation within the sector.

Between its inception in 2012 and 2017, CGRF successfully resolved over 3,000 consumer complaints, earning the trust of homebuyers and becoming a credible redressal body within the industry. Following the implementation of RERA, CGRF’s independent operations were paused. However, CREDAI NCR has remained committed to consumer-centric engagement, playing an active role in the UP RERA Conciliation Forum. Senior representatives of CREDAI NCR continue to contribute meaningfully to this platform, furthering the resolution of disputes and reinforcing industry accountability.

The CGRF remains a hallmark of CREDAI NCR’s dedication to enhancing delivery standards, building home-buyers confidence, and strengthening the credibility of its member developers among homebuyers, regulatory bodies, and the broader public.
